The Dutch artist Patrick van Riemsdijk (Utrecht, 1986) creates personal, abstract paintings using based on colour rather than shape. Mixing colours can be a project in itself. Van Riemsdijk describes his work himself: “I don’t paint paintings, I capture an emotion, an energy.”
