The owner of this holiday home in Portugal had been a Wolterinck client for years when he asked us to landscape his garden in the Algarve. We made a conscious decision to use plants and a style in the garden that was recognisably South-European – the surrounding area and local flora are always the inspiration for the design. Next to the existing swimming pool, we built a covered patio to provide shade against the scorching Portuguese son. The garden furniture was designed by Paola Lenti.
